Biogennix launches clinical-strength hand sanitizer
Irvine-based Biogennix has teamed with Rancho Santa Margarita to develop and launch a new line of clinical-strength hand sanitizer in an effort to proactively assist the community in preventive measures to help combat COVID-19.
The new sprayable, quick-drying sanitizer product is made with an 80% ethanol alcohol formulation recommended by the World Health Organization. The hand sanitizer is fully manufactured in the United States and ships from Biogennix’s facility in Irvine. The product is available for national distribution through SafeRacks via the SafeRacks.com site, as well as on Biogennix’s website (www.biogennix.com).
Despite the COVID-19 pandemic and its effects on the healthcare sector globally, Biogennix has remained functional while taking all necessary measures to keep its team safe. Biogennix continues to supply its existing products to customers, including its newly FDA-approved Agilon moldable bone grafting product.
In addition to preparing for the resurgence of elective surgeries that were postponed due to the pandemic, Biogennix chose to use its available production resources to produce a high-quality, hand sanitizer product that would quickly be made available to healthcare workers at the front lines of the battle against the coronavirus, as well as to the public.
“We wanted to contribute with our available resources to do something impactful, so we created a product we know is in high demand right now,” said Michael Roux, Biogennix’s General Manager. “This is top-of-the-line sanitizer, provided in individual spray bottles and one-gallon jugs, fully made and manufactured here in California and ready for distribution to essential workers and the general population as well.”
