Medical equipment organization
Paladin Healthcare’s Evolution Medical Equipment Management Rail System is now available from Crest Healthcare. Evolution is a Fairfield-Style medical organization system that creates a horizontal wall arrangement of rail, plates, adapters and accessories, moving equipment off the floor to help patient and caregiver safety. Clinical devices, equipment and management tools snap on and off for flexibility and ease. The system can be managed and adapted to existing and future needs.Residual moisture testing
Healthmark Industries has added their new HydroCheck to their ProFormance Cleaning Verification line. HydroCheck is a single-use test kit that can detect as little as 0.05 μL of residual moisture in channels, providing immediate results. Swabs are available in 1.7mm, 2.8mm, 3.8mm and 5.0mm. If a detectable amount of residual moisture is present on the swab, there will be a visual color change to purple.

Imperial Surgical is launching the KLEANIK sink disinfection system for use in hospital critical care units. KLEANIK prevents the adherence of micro-organisms to the inner wall of the p-trap (biofilm formation) by vibration combined with the prevention of bacterial growth and multiplication by heat disinfection. The system provides fully-automatic, self-regulating and continuous disinfection, eliminates the need to flush sink drains with ineffective, toxic chemical cleaners and helps prevent hospital-acquired infections.
