Dräger receives another Vizient award: Pediatric Supplier of the Year

Vizient, a prominent group purchasing organization (GPO) has selected Dräger as “Pediatric Supplier of the Year” based on its exceptional support, partnership and organizational commitment toward assisting pediatric hospitals in achieving their supply chain goals. This is the second time that Dräger has won the award, said the company in a news release.

Vizient serves more than half of the nation’s hospitals and eight of the 10 “Best Children’s Hospitals 2018-19” noted by U.S. News & World Report and chose Dräger as Pediatric Supplier of the Year based on its collaboration, customer service, support of pediatric initiatives and commitment to product service and quality.  

“We are pleased to recognize Dräger as our supplier of the year for pediatrics,” said Jody Hatcher, president, supply chain services for Vizient in a statement. “This award reflects their commitment to collaboration and service excellence that helps Vizient’s members meet their goals for supply chain efficiency and cost management.”

“This award demonstrates our strong focus on providing a comprehensive pediatric solution, and how our devices are leveraged for enhanced clinical and financial outcomes,” said Steve Menet, senior vice president of sales for Dräger Hospital Solutions in a prepared statement. “It also acknowledges our tremendous growth in the pediatric market, which we have achieved through relationship building, education and commitment to product and service excellence.”

Dräger’s portfolio offers pediatric-focused solutions impacting the neonatal intensive care unit (NICU), operating room (OR) and transport.
