Medpricer recognized as one of the 20 most promising supply chain solution providers in 2019
Medpricer, a purchased services cost management solution for the healthcare industry, was recently named one of the 20 Most Promising Supply Chain Solution Providers in 2019 by CIO Review. Medpricer says it was recognized for their efforts to solve traditional supply chain technology challenges, like foreseeing and eliminating supplier risks, and offering tailored solutions which have saved customers more than $700 million in purchased services spend.
The company says this year it acquired four new customers, including Intermountain Healthcare, and has launched two products which it says can help supply chains make faster and better-informed contracting decisions.
“The sheer volume of data alone can be overwhelming. Add on to this the complexities of working across multiple departments to identify the most savings opportunities, and supply chains can quickly become overwhelmed,” Chris Gormley, Medpricer CEO, told Healthcare Purchasing News. “Our most recent product launches, mSource AI Contract Text Analysis and mSource Predictive Plan, join our mSource cost management platform to give customers the ability to easily and efficiently manage every aspect of their purchased services life cycle in one place.”
Medpricer explained that its end-to-end cost management platform can be specifically tailored to each customer’s unique needs and that supply chains using the mSource platform typically save 24 percent on existing purchased services contracts and can reduce their time to RFP by 40 percent.
Chief Customer Officer Mickey Meehan told HPN “Using our proprietary machine learning algorithm, mSource AI Contract Text Analysis and mSource Predictive Plan, provide a 360-view of each customer's complete purchased services lifecycle and enable them to compare hundreds of data points within seconds. The data and collaboration tools embedded within the platform unite an organization's stakeholders and offers a way to improve and maintain supplier relations.”
