Founded by the American Nurses Association (ANA), National Nurses Week – observed May 6 to May 12, which is the birthday of the legendary Florence Nightingale – the organization will share one story each day to celebrate the difference nurses make in people’s lives while offering free resources to help nurses elevate their careers and boost their say on how healthcare is delivered.
Nurses, hospitals, and other healthcare stakeholders are encouraged to download the National Nurses Week Resource Toolkit, which includes materials to help promote this annual observance in local communities and in the media.
