Made of a soft, antimicrobial French terry and available in navy and rose, this collaboration honors the late designer who passed away from cancer in 2014. The design features two zippers to allow easy clinician access to a patient’s treatment area, without the patient having to undress. Additionally, the Hoodie has snaps at the top of the zippers so that treatment lines can run out from the chest area while still keeping the patient warm.
GloShield by Jackson Medical is a single-use disposable safety device that fits on the distal (scope) connector of a fiber-optic light cable to prevent fires in the operating room. During scope procedures, the fiber-optic light cables exceed 500 degrees Fahrenheit at the distal ends, putting patients and staff at risk of burns and fires. Installed at the beginning of the procedure, the device allows for easy engagement and blocks most of the cable light upon scope disconnection.
